I’m so happy to tell you that two of my FAVORITE boutiques in all of Seattle have kindly added the StickFiggy Winter line of cards to their offerings: Essenza and Les Amis! Essenza has fantastic soaps, perfumes, perfumes you WON’T find in department stores, jewelry, and gift items.
They have a DARLING children’s section featuring books published by my fav. publisher: Chronicle Books. I recall seeing great baby clothes as well- the SUPER cute european styles. This is a great place to find baby shower items!

Les Amis is one of Seattle’s designer clothing boutiques with a tantalizing counter of wallets, jewelry, and other goodies. Their cards are interspersed in the far right section of the store. They have an impressive array of high-end specialty cotton shirts. I love the ones by Michael Stars, James Perse, and Velvet.

We’re in the thick of holiday season (not over yet if you are having a birthday, celebrating Eastern Orthodox Christmas on January 7th, or are anticipating the Chinese New Year in February….) and it is the time when Jiminy Cricket starts chirping in your ear about THANK YOU cards! And if you don’t hear him, you’re either clueless or . . . perfect. Yikes!

They’re such a simple concept. A thank you note is an expression of appreciation for a thoughtful act, expression, or gift. But the potential formality of this thought can be intimidating. Many people think that the wording has to be perfect, and this causes so much anxiety that the notes are never sent. Before all the other rules, just remember that an imperfect note that comes with heartfelt sentiment is better than a perfect note that was never written.
