Bedtime Sequencing Craft -put StickFiggy to bed!

Let’s put StickFiggy to bed! Reinforce some bedtime rituals AND play a little sequencing game. Images are from the digital book, Good Night StickFiggy.

Ages: 2-5

Difficulty level: easy

Cost: Free

Supplies: scissors, glue, paper, color printer, printable pdf

Skills:  fine motor skills, verbalization,  sequencing.

Print the printable.  Cut along the dotted lines.

Have the child(ren) tell you what is happening in each page.

Fold the heavy piece of paper longways. Cut along the fold. (Folding exactly is kind of a grownup thing.)

Glue the ends together.

Ask the child(ren) to put them in an order. Perfection isn’t necessary. If this seems like a real stumper however, go back and read Good Night StickFiggy.

Glue. Add the title image if you like.

Now that you have your own order of events, tape it on the bathroom mirror for some fun and possibly more efficient future nights! Over-achievers can laminate it first.
